Sidwell Programs Find Success in the Postseason Championships

As the regular ISL and MAC seasons come to an end around the beginning of May, the focus shifts to the postseason championships, including the Independent School League (ISL) for the girls’ programs and the Mid-Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAC) for boys’ programs Championships as well as the DCSAA State Championships.

Despite not being predicted to win, with 18-1 odds, Mystic Dan and his jockey, Brian Hernandez Jr., were the winners of this year's Derby, with a time of 2:03.34.
The Varsity Tennis team finished the regular season 16-1, successfully completing their title defense for the fourth year in a row.

The Varsity Softball Team and the Boy's Tennis Team won their respective league titles at the end of May: the Independent School League (ISL) for the girls and the Mid-Atlantic Athletic Conference for the boys.
